I have received a lot of E-mails from different groups of people. I have responded the majority of them personally and have chosen not to respond to various E-mails because of the content I find in these E-mails. I find it sort of ironic actually that while I was contemplating rather I would write this article of not I found another post by a reader of mine on his own personal blog with a similar basis. You can find it here on Tumblr. The post goes on explaining the different types of people that are concerned with Freemasonry. I have a strong belief it isn't too far off. Partially because I have received mail from a lot of different people that fall into those categories.

This post is in response to an E-mail that I have received from someone I will keep anonymous regarding one of my previous posts. It involves religion and my personal convictions with how I see the Maker of the Earth and how Freemasonry is the back bone of Satan and preaching these heresies into my soul.

Normally, I would not even humor the person writing this garbage, however, I feel that the person or persons writing this E-mail deserved a little bit acknowledgement and maybe some understanding of how I feel and believe. Perhaps, I wasn't clear in the post they are referencing (Seen here) regarding my faith. Maybe the person was just trying to get me to go to a well known website against Freemasonry, that does not even deserve to be referenced here. I know the website and have read it as a laugh and even get ideas to write about trying to clear the minds of the ones in the dark.

Let me be clear: My post regarding my personal feelings and beliefs in a higher being are not based on Freemasonry. There are many Christians, Jews, Muslims, Taoist, Buddhists and various other religious ideologies within Freemasonry. That is the beauty of the the fraternity. It is a brotherhood of different religions and cultures where we can come together as one, united in our belief in a higher power. Where in the world outside of Freemasonry we are constantly at war with each other. We have waged wars against other cultures because they worshiped the Sun god, the goddess of fertility or what have you. We have even waged wars against other cultures that have the same god, ie; Judaism, Islam and Christianity. However, in a lodge of Freemasons no matter your religion you are accepted amongst brothers and are treated equal regardless of your race, nationality, culture, or creed. That is your personal belief and there is no place in Freemasonry for hatred amongst each other based on any of these items.

We do all happen to share a common set of values and morals. We learn these values, study these values and practice them however we can. We teach these values and morals through out every lodge meeting. We practice philanthropy because being a good man in society is important amongst all religions and is good practice to show the younger generations how peaceful our world really can be if we just help each other out. Freemasonry is not a replacement for your faith but a tool to help make your faith and belief in the Higher power, whatever it may be, stronger.

My post about my personal convictions have been an on going war with my soul from the day I was brought into this world and I have finally become O.K with how I believe. There is one thing I can say what Freemasonry has something to do with my own personal convictions. It is true, Freemasonry has allowed me to become comfortable and feel more accepted with what I believe. Yet again I repeat, Freemasonry is full of God fearing men from different religions and many are very much involved inside their church, synagogue or what ever religious temple they hold to it's highest degree. I have no doubt in my mind that Freemasonry has helped them come to terms with their own convictions of their religion. I say again, Freemasonry is NOT a replacement for your religion.

As for my personal beliefs not being Christian like and practicing the devil's work. Let me try to understand your definition of a Christian. There are many people who believe different things of what a Christian is. I being a man who like historical facts and knowledge of the world understand the term Christian as a derogatory term given to the people who were practicing morals and the teachings of the Christ. The Christ is a title that was given to Jesus' not by himself but by other people. I never once said that I do not believe in the Christ, and I have never said that I disagree with the teachings of the Bible. I also do not disagree with any of the religious teachings of the world. I believe that word given to the men in the different Volumes of Sacred Law have been distorted because it is simply nothing but hearsay. They still have good information to live life by and have good instructions on how to be better men and women of the world. Teaching peace and acceptance amongst each other. How I believe there is no right, there is no wrong... We are all children of God. We all have to accept God on our own terms. Mine is different from yours. Well guess what... That does not define me as any less of a Christian than yourself. I am not going to hell because I don't agree with you, I am not going to hell because I accept other religions. If anything God has been known to punish those who judge others with in the same Bible you read.

In closing, Freemasonry is not a religion. My faith is not in conflict with yours, nor is it with anyone else's. I believe in a higher being and believe he has prophets he has used to teach how to live morally and ethically. It is not my fault that mankind is flawed and ruins the teachings and turns them into creeds and dogmas. Why can't we just accept each other in peace?
