Today, I was approached by a man requesting information about Freemasonry. He has heard a lot about it from one already. A member of PHA and a Soldier in our unit. I took him aside from everybody and asked him a simple question. A question I think everyone should be able to get right. I would like to know your thoughts on this one question. Email me your replies at celestialbrotherhood@outlook.com
The question:
You are in the company of your brother, lets call him John. He is a couple years older than you and is your mom and dad's favorite child. He has always been there for you through thick and thin and will do anything for you. Every now and then times can get rough and he doesnt have the capability to help you out if you need it and has declined a few times. Along with John you are also with your long time friend who belongs to the same fraternal organization as you, we will call him Greg. He too has been able to be there through all the good and rough spots of your life and has never once turned you down for assistance with anything. Even if times were rough for Greg he would do what he can to help you out if it meant he brought over dinner to your house so you and your family could eat. Something small but widely appreciated among your family and you.
You Greg, and John are all out fishing in a boat. There is nobody around just you three on a nice quiet morning catching the pike as they come up for breakfast. You get a huge catch and are reeling in the fish when all the momentum shifts and the boat over turns. You being a fairly strong swimmer have no problem getting back to the boat. Unfortunately, your blood brother, John and your fraternal brother Greg are poor swimmers and are starting to drown. They are both the same distance from the boat but on opposite sides and you only have time to save one. Who do you save?
I am now pending your answers and thoughts.
