As you all know I have been doing a lot of writing lately. I am still in the middle of my book and have written two short stories already. Since I have had all the inspiration to write sometimes I can't think of things to write about but other times they just flood my mind. It doesn't matter what I the idea is for I just start writing and allow my mind to just escape out through the pen. A few nights ago I woke up with an idea that kind of surprised me. I took out my pad of paper and pen that I have kept next to me by my bed for instances like this. The idea is something out of my lane. I don't do things like this... Usually it is just short stories or novel ideas that come to me, however, my inspiration has been so strong lately that I knew to trust it and just let it flow. The other night I wrote a poem. I am currently trying to transcribe it onto a piece of cardboard right now, but if you know me, my handwriting is worse than a doctor's on crack. So I am taking my sweet precious time putting the words down and I want to make it colorful. Now, this is my first piece of work that I will be publishing myself. Right here on this blog and I would love your feedback. It involves things I miss but more particular the woman I miss in every word.

Fresh tears bring us Spring of Green
Bright Orange the passionate Summer's Sun
Dark Brown the leaves will change
The Winter will bring the Grey
As the seasons change
and days go by
There isn't a second I don't
see those eyes
The Green of Spring
The Orange of Summer
The Brown of Fall
The Winter Grey
I love them all the same
but my favorite
is the summer's
Just before the Fall
